Robert Steven Harloff

Robert Steven Harloff, 68, formerly of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Royal Oakes Care Center in Kewanee, Illinois. Runge Mortuary will be handling the arrangements. No services are planned at this time.

Bob (Steve) was born in Davenport on December 2, 1954. He was the son of Robert and Marilyn Ann (Littig) Harloff. He graduated from Bettendorf High School in 1974.

Bob married Diane Ties on October 23, 1976. The couple had three children, Nicholas, Michelle and Mitchell. They later divorced.

Bob worked several years at Sears Manufacturing in Davenport until the mid1990’s after which he became disabled. He did odd jobs for people as his health allowed.

He enjoyed talking with people and offering help when he could. Even in his short time at Royal Oaks several of the staff stated that they became quite attached to him.

Bob is survived by his two sons, Nicholas and Mitchell, his daughter, Michelle (Josh) Hull, grandchildren Bryson and Paeton , his sister, Peggy Atkins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and sister, Lori Arnold of Maysville, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
