Randy L. Meister

Memorial services for Randy L. Meister will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the mortuary. Randy passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his residence. Randy Lee Meister was born on August 27, 1976 in Davenport, the son of John and Sharon (Tank) Meister. In 1994 he graduated from North Scott High School. He worked as a salesman for various companies, including ACRI for 18 years. Randy was known for his artistic abilities in abstract drawing and painting, his great sense of humor, and his heart of gold. He was a people person and always enjoyed chatting with those he came in contact with. Randy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Davenport. He is survived by Parents: John (Sharon) Meister of Long Grove, IA; Children: Olivia and Elias Meister, Kieran Ehlers, all of Davenport; Brothers: Roger Meister of Dallas, TX, Rodney Meister of Davenport. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John (Leona) Tank; paternal grandparents: George (Helen) Meister; and an uncle, Terry Tank. Memorials may be directed to the family.
