Phil was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 17, 1956 to Delmar and Pauline Prince. He was an EMT for many years. He also worked security for Slippery Noodle Inn in Indianapolis, Indiana. He enjoyed being a DJ for Kala radio station in Davenport, Iowa. He truly was a jack of all trades.
Phil had a passion for motorcycles and knew most everything there was to know about them. He enjoyed going for walks, going to concerts and loved watching races in person or on TV. Most of all he loved his family and friends very much. Those that got to know him knew that was a gentle teddy bear. Phil had a great spirit about him.
He is survived by his son James Dohrmann (Steel) of Davenport, Iowa; stepchildren, Heather (Gordan) Nunez of Davenport, Iowa and Heath Palmer also of Davenport, Iowa; brother, Richard (Nancy) Prince of Buffalo, Iowa; many grandchildren; amazing friends, James Nagel of Moline, Illinois and Leon Van Horn of Iowa City, Iowa. He also leaves behind many more friends that considered him as a brother.
Phil is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Roger Prince.
