Peggy Emerson

Peggy Emerson, 70, of Davenport passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 in Bettendorf. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Monday, January 27, 2014 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Sunday at the mortuary. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County or the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Peggy was born and raised in Davenport. On May 22, 1965 she married Lecel Emerson in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 2011. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her sons Mark (Stephanie) Emerson of Andrew, IA, Matthew Emerson of Hamilton, AL and Todd Emerson of Davenport; grandchildren Zach, Alexandrea, Dylan, Kaiden and Hunter; a great grandson, Brently Arm and a sister Nancy (Frank) Norris of Davenport. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Roseann Stuckle and Alice Heuer and brother Richard Wiskirchen.
