A funeral service will be held at The Runge Mortuary on Saturday, December 7th at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held 3 hours prior.
Patrick was born on October 18th, 1974 at Osteopathic Hospital in Davenport to Virginia Eischeid. He graduated from North High School in 1993. From there he went on to study in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Gainesville, Florida. He was a software developer for all of his life, most recently at ProMax.
Patrick enjoyed life and everything it had to offer. He was a gamer of all kinds, including Magic the Gathering, Minecraft, multiplayer chess, and Fanduel Sports. He also enjoyed sports games, especially football. He developed a green thumb and grew a wide of variety of dry beans, leeks, garlic, and many herbs. He had a passion for cooking, and had a taste for good whiskey. Recently, he developed an interest in electronics. He loved collecting precious metals and coins. He also loved the simple things in life, like driving with the windows down and just listening to nature. He was a gentle soul, who cared deeply with his whole heart about those he loved. He had the most warm and kind smile and a chuckle-like laugh that could only make you smile in return!
He is survived by his loving mother Virginia Grubb, his Cat Punkin, uncles; Thomas, Ted (Jeannie), and Michael (Bobbi), aunts; JoAnn (Gary), Laura (Kevin), many cousins and friends, biological father Patrick K. Burke.
He was Godfather to Charlotte Palmer and honorary uncle to both Charlotte and Eleanor Palmer.
He was preceded in death by George and Brownie Eischeid, and his cousin Patrick Schrantz.
