Mrs. Dixon was my 7th grade English teacher in the mid-90s. I don't remember much of the content from that class, but I do remember how she made me feel. I was an awkward middle school kid trying to find my way, but I always felt secure and deeply cared for in her classroom. I am thankful that I will get to see her again one day in the kingdom of our God. I am so sorry for your great loss.

Mother Dixon it was pleasure knowing you.  I thank you for wisdom and knowledge. You helped me get through one of the roughest times of my life. I love and will truly miss your smile and encouragement every Sunday that we saw each other. I pray the blessings of God over your family as the said they last good bye to you today.

Mrs. Dixon was one of the most amazing teachers to touch my life.  She was the only teacher that I was okay with calling me Jilly. Thank you so much for everything that you taught us inside and outside the classroom!

Patricia Dixon was not the woman who gave birth to me.... neither was she the woman who carried me in her womb for nine months. She was not the woman whose petite frame was distorted in order that I might have life. Patricia Dixon ..... was the woman who came into my life unexpectedly; her presence kissed my soul. She was the answer to prayers that I never prayed.... she was the wisdom that would prepare me for a bountiful journey into a friendship that many wouldn't understand. No.... she will never be the woman who ushered me into this world or the woman whose hands will forever be the foundation of my childhood. Patricia Dixon..... will ALWAYS be the woman who took a slice of my life and created a life time of memories. So today.... I honor a woman who had experienced every season of life; she refilled my cup on many occasions. Until we meet again….. I will drink wisely and share when it is necessary💋

PAT HENRY DIXON was my sorority sister at UPPER IOWA UNIVERSITY.  She honored me by asking me to be one of her bridesmaids in her wedding to LaVerle Dixon. I am so terribly sorry for this loss.

Patricia and I first met at Iowa Illinois Gas and Electric  Company many, many years ago.  She became my sister /friend.  Patricia was kind, loving, caring, and just a genuinely beautiful person from the inside out.  That smile lit up any room she walked into.  She will truly be missed.  To Laverle, Christopher, Joseph and Jenny, may the Lord wrap his loving arms around you and give you peace. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

I always enjoyed time spent with Pat, her positive attitude and great laugh.  I know how she will be missed.  Thoughts and prayers to Dix, Chris, Jenny, Joey and family.

It's been 20+ years since I was in Mrs. Dixon's class, but wow, I could never forget her laugh and amazing personality. She was such a natural teacher—the role model so many students looked up to. Mrs. Dixon, you will be greatly missed! <3

One of my favorite collegues many fun days and great memories felt like we raised our kids together so many times we shared with them and alot of nice lunches at our favorite place red lobster. So sorry to hear of this fine ladies departure from all of us. Prayers to her family during this trying time. She will be greatly missed.

Ms. Dixon was the best teacher I had during my time at Williams. She was always speaking life into her students while keeping us grounded. She has made a lasting impression in my life and I am so blessed to have met her. I will never forget her. Sending my love and condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and former students. I would love to let Mrs. Dixon’s family know how many kids lives she touched. She was a teacher that always made me feel seen and heard. She is one of a few teachers throughout my life that I always constantly reflected fondly upon. May she be a peace sing the praises of our Lord!

I am so sorry to hear the news that Pat is no longer with us. She has always been a very special person along with Laverle, Chris, Jenny and Joey to the Kauffman family. She was a woman of strong faith. She always showed up for our family in  happy and sad times. they were are awesome neighbors.. rest in peace, Pat we shall miss you. Until we meet again, our love and prayers are with you, Laverle, Chris, Jenny, and Joey and your children.

Mrs. Dixon was such a sweet lady and she will be missed by many in the Davenport and Quad Cities Community. You were always so kind to me and my family and you would always grab my hand after I sang a song and said young man. You sang that!! You will be so missed and we are praying for your family at this time

I worked with Pat at Williams Intermediate School. We became friends and would go out to lunch in the summer and laugh and laugh. She had the best sense of humor and loved her family fiercely. She had more common sense and understanding of human nature than many people. What a lovely, lovely person! My heartfelt condolences to her beautiful family!

I am blessed momma Dixon welcomed me into her family as the girlfriend to her oldest son Chris. Thank you momma Dixon for all your loving, caring and special words you shared with me over the last 3 yrs and especially these last 3 months. Thank you for letting me take care of you these last 3 months. I will treasure all of the times we had n especially the day we watched a movie together. I miss you deeply momma Dixon n I will never forget you.
