Pamela L. Lopez, 72, of Davenport, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and have a private family service. Always a generous and giving person, Pam chose to help others with the gift of organ donation. Pam was born November 15, 1944, in Rock Island, the daughter of Ralph and Leona (Arvidson) Fulscher. She was formerly married to David Lopez and they had two daughters. Pam retired from Oscar Mayer after 27 years of service. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved to read, but what she loved most of all was spending time with her daughters, granddaughters and great grandson. They were her pride and joy. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters and their spouses: Gina (Bob) Martin, Blue Grass and Lisa (Ron) Kline, Davenport; granddaughters Kerstin (David) German and Gabby Kline (Jacob Siefers); her adored great-grandson, Nathan German; and her grand-cat Rudy Martin; her siblings Nancy Marckese, Sharon Kolls, Barbara Wise and Mary Custer; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Donna Hendrix and Patricia Fulscher, and a precious great-granddaughter Kayla German. Pam’s daughters would like to thank the University of Iowa Neurology Department, especially Drs. Ortega, Kimmel and Anderson and Nurse Practitioner Mishelle Paullus; all of whom fought so hard for their mom. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Memorials may be made to QC Animal Welfare Center, Milan, Illinois or The University of Iowa Foundation (Neurology), Iowa City, Iowa. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
