Nancy S Swigart

Nancy S. Swigart, 79, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 after an extended illness. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 pm at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com. Nancy was born November 13, 1936 in Quincy, IL; the daughter of Clarence and Francis Welch. She was united in marriage to Marion Swigart; he preceded her in death in 1984. She enjoyed traveling to National parks and camping. She also enjoyed mushroom hunting cooking, baking, cake decorating, but, most of all, her loving family.Those honoring her life include her son, Paul and his wife, Jennifer Swigart; sisters: Patricia Nutt and Marge Tarpein, all of the Quad Cities; granddaughters Emma and Hannah Swigart and a great granddaughter, Ryleigh. In addition to her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
