Tom was born on February 3, 1937, in Clinton, Iowa to Andrew and Bertha (Gabrilson) Bailey. On March 7, 1957, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Gene Heun. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage until her passing in 2017. Tom enjoyed gardening, fishing, Christmas lights and spending time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Karen Fair, Dan (Pam) Bailey, Cindy (Troy Leake) Bailey; grandchildren, John Fair, Anthony Fair, Michael Fair, Amanda (Brittany) Tower, Justin (Erika) Bailey, Brittany (Brandon Blakey) Lang, Gavin Fersch, Colton (Taylor) Fersch, Dakota (Shelby) Fersch and many great grandchildren.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and 7 siblings.
