Marvin Thomas, 48, of Bettendorf died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at home. Funeral services will be Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11:30 AM at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens.

Marvin was born March 27, 1965 in Iowa City, IA. He enjoyed sports and spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his son and daughters: Alyvia Smith, Davenport; Celia Thomas, Davenport; Jeremy Thomas, Matherville, IL and Daemon Thomas; granddaughter, Khari Bearbower; brothers and sister, Patricia Thomas-Manuel, Bettendorf, Steve Thomas, Rock Island, IL; James (Jeri) Thomas, Davenport; Melvin Thomas, TN; Emma Thomas, Davenport; Lynda (Dana) Larson, David Thomas, Garcia (Joan) Thomas, all of Davenport and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Davis, sister, Tammie Thomas, his grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
