Per the family’s request, cremation rites will be accorded. His final resting place will be in Allen’s Grove Cemetery at a later date this Spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Genesis Health Foundation.
Mark was born on August 3, 1965, in Anaheim, California, the loving son of Allen and Catherine (Cornett) Owens. He last worked as a pipeline inspector throughout the United States. Mark loved to fish, ski and go mountain climbing. He was also known as a “World Class” pool player.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving mother, Catherine Owens, Eldridge, sister, Dawn (John) Thompson, National Harbor, MD, nieces and nephews: Cori Thompson (Nayeem Qadir), Seth Thompson and Andrew Thompson, great nephews, Zayn and Aiden and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members.
His father and grandparents on both sides preceded him in death.
