Lorraine Winifred Kohl

Lorraine W. Kohl, 89, of Davenport passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Davenport. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Friday, November 19, 2010 at The Runge Mortuary and Crematory. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time at the mortuary. Lorraine Kohl was born February 25, 1921 in Muscatine, IA the daughter of Clarence and Verda (Geesey) Tschillard. She was united in marriage to Victor Kohl August 2, 1946 in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1992.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Davenport and the Davenport Women’s Club.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Jim (Vicki) Kohl, Davenport, Craig (Brenda) Kohl, Grand Mound; 5 grandchildren, Erica Mallie, Rachel McDonald, Lisa Kohl, Eric Kohl, Anna Kohl; 2 sisters Barbara Prewein, Shirley Rodgers, both of Florida.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Victor, sister Verda and brother Clarence.
