Loretta M. Dumerauf, 96, formerly of Davenport Iowa, died on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in Lubbock, TX. Visitation will be on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 10 - 12pm at Weerts Funeral Home. Loretta will be laid to rest at Pinehill Cemetery in Davenport, IA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children. Loretta was born September 29, 1927 in Avant, Oklahoma. She married Charles Hoeper in 1944. They had four children together. Charles passed in 1963 and Loretta eventually remarried. She joined Clarence Dumerauf in married union in 1965 and he passed in 1997.
Loretta volunteered for Davenport Lutheran Home for 30 years teaching crafts to the residents.
Loretta is survived by her four children; Dan Hoeper of Livingston, TX, Donna Hoeper of Lubbock, TX, Diana Bauman-Smith of Buffalo, SD, Charles Hoeper of Prairie Du Chien, WI; 10 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
