Linda Kay Kellum

Linda K. Kellum, 56, a long-time resident of Davenport and LeClaire, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 17, 2012 in Davenport. Following cremation, there will be no visitation or service. However, there will be a memorial gathering for family and friends on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2 pm at the Outing Club, 2109 N. Linda was born September 26, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa where she lived until moving to the Davenport area. Linda was the co-owner and manager of Great River Spirits in LeClaire, Iowa. Prior to that she was employed as General Manager of the Abby Hotel in Bettendorf, Iowa and also as Director of Sales and Catering at the Radisson Quad City Plaza Hotel in Davenport for ten years following its opening in 1995.

Survivors include her daughter Kacee M. Kellum of Kansas City, Missouri; her long-time companion Jon Weigle of Davenport; two sisters, Ruth Ferguson and Peggy (Joe) Gray of Des Moines, Iowa; two brothers, Ron Garland of Homosassa, Florida and Don E. Garland of Des Moines; her aunt, Colynn Crutcher of Brownsville, Texas; five nieces, three great nieces, one nephew and five great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald A. and Sadie P. Garland and a nephew, Bryan A.
