Linda F. Fleming, 58, of Davenport, passed away, Friday, May 6, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family at the University of Iowa Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at 4:00 pm in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Linda was born on September 17, 1957 in Mexico, Missouri the daughter of Richard Greene and Betty Irving. She was united in marriage to Dennis L. Fleming on January 16, 1977 in Vandalia, Missouri. Linda was employed for All-Steel in Muscatine. She was a hard headed and stubborn woman whose family always came first. Her family was very important to her and her grandchildren were her whole life. She was a huge family historian. Those left to celebrate her life include her husband of 39 years, Dennis; children, Heather (Robert) Crabtree, Brandon (Laurie) Fleming, and Cara (Orlando) Rodriguez; siblings, Bill Hendrix, Sissy Reed, and Archie Vittetoe. Among her other family, Linda was especially fond of her grandchildren, Devin, Braden, Michael, Dylan, Levi, Lylah, Jordon, Hope, Grace, Faith, Lorelei, Catalyna and Elyas. They were the reason for her life and for the fight that she gave. Linda was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, J.W. and Opal Stotler, her parents, sister Audra, and brother Johnny.
