Kevin J. Francke

Kevin was born October 29, 1955 in Woodstock, IL to Robert & Shirley (Gillie) Francke. He graduated from Wauconda High School in 1973. Kevin was united in marriage to Paula LaCourse on March 8, 1997 in Lake Geneva, IL.

Kevin had worked in the plastic injection business most of his life, mentored by his father Robert. Kevin had operated his own business for years, but more recently worked for Scientific Specialist Inc.

Kevin was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf, IA, Davenport Moose Lodge, and the ESCO institute for plastic injection molding. Kevin was a great storyteller and never met a stranger. He was also a “handyman Especial” at fixing things for his family, friends or anyone who needed help.

Survivors include his wife and forever friend Paula Francke, Davenport, IA; stepson Matthew (Maria) Kiley, Naperville, IL; stepdaughter Maureen (Ty) Benewitz, Ashland,OR; Grandchildren Grace, Matthew Jr., Makeena, Indira, Zyra, & Lux; & siblings Kimberly Geddes, Fox Lake, IL, Rani Sue (Alex) Winiecki, Moultonborough, NH, Leslie Hurdis, Racine, WI, Brian (Dorothy) Francke, Genoa, IL, and Wayne (Kimberly) Francke, Island Lake, IL.

Kevin was preceded in death by parents, grandparents, brothers Mark & Keith, and many other loved ones including his special pets Cody & Max.
