Keith Edwin Herrick

Keith Edwin Herrick, 67, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at Trinity Rock Island. Funeral services will be at 11: 30 AM Thursday, April 14, 2011 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. He was born March 5, 1944 in Kewanee, IL, the son of Richard and Edith (Pettis) Herrick. He married Deanna Soenke on February 14, 1970 in Davenport.

Keith retired from John Deere Harvester in East Moline in 1998 and was currently employed as a Tour Guide at Harvester.

He loved farming, camping with his wife, playing the Lottery, watching TV and spending time with his grandchildren. He was known for his cleaning.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deanna; son, Brian Herrick (Denise Blake), Walcott, IA; daughter, Tammy (Kevin) Davis, Silvis, IL; son, Michael Herrick, Coal Valley, IL; eight grandchildren; and brothers, Richard Herrick, Jr., Kewanee, IL; Clifford Herrick, Rock Island, IL and Kenneth Herrick, Australia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob Herrick.
