Joyce Elaine Lindle

Joyce E. Lindle, 86, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Clarissa C Cook Hospice House. Funeral services to honor her memory will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 12pm at Weerts Funeral Home; visitation will be before the service starting at 10am. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. Memorials in Joyce’s name may be made to the American Red Cross.

Joyce was born on August 8, 1938 in Davenport, Iowa to James and Vivian Winner. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1956. Joyce worked for LuJack’s for over 30 years as a Service Manager. Joyce loved to travel and go on cruises; especially if it was with her family. She especially looked forward to her “Grandma’s Weekend” with her grandchildren and getting to take them to their sporting events or just out on the town. During her free time, she enjoyed baking, crocheting, and all things Disney. Following the passing of her twin sister, Joyce started running a local food bank in her honor. Joyce had a heart of gold and went out of her way to help those who needed it.

Those left to honor her memory are her children Dale Lindle, Jeff (Leticia) Lindle, Joanne Hugaert, Kathy Hagberg, Cindy (Kevin) Fisher, Lisa Lindle, Mark (Michele) Lindle, Carolyn (Denny) Thornburg, Angela (Brian) Riccio, and Kristie (Brian) Holland; along with many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; her son James Lindle; brother James Winner; and her twin sister and best friend Joanne Weintraut.
