Funeral services for Joseph E. Howard, 61, of Davenport will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport. Mr. Howard passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus, Davenport. Joseph Edward Howard was born on June 6, 1955 in Iowa City, IA, the son of Doris and Irene (Smith) Howard. On June 7, 2011 he married Jane Carnes in Rock Island, IL. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his Wife: Jane Howard of Davenport; Sons: Travis Norman of Davenport, Ronald Epping of Davenport, Francis Epping of Howell, NJ, Christopher Epping of Davenport; Sister: Christine (Duane) Abbott of Davenport; and 7 Grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Mary “Kathy” (Larry) Pitcher, Bonnie Jo Crisp, Agnes Ann Howard, Esther “Essie” McFadden.
