Joan was born February 7, 1934 in Davenport, IA, one of 4 children to Louis and Catherine (Bieber) Bennett. She was united in marriage to Richard J. McHenry in 1968.
Joan and Dick loved Hawaii, they made numerous winter trips to the big island.
Joan is survived by sister, Kathy (Randy) Myers of Blue Grass, IA; stepchildren, Gene (Norma) McHenry of Arizona, Karen (Paul) Drescher of Wisconsin, and Sharon (Dean) White of Bettendorf, IA; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother, Bob and sister, Sandra.
Joan will be missed dearly.
