Jimmy D. Sprout, 59, of Davenport, died unexpectedly Friday, March 5, 2010 at Genesis West Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 12, 2010 at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the mortuary. Burial will be in National Cemetery Rock Island, IL.

Jimmy was born February 26, 1951 in Davenport, the son of Gerald and Beverly (Smith) Sprout. He served 13 years in the Army. He was united in marriage to Aloisia Eggart April 5, 1974 in Germany.
He was employed as a mechanic for Charnor Enterprises in Milan, IL. He enjoyed fishing, camping, working on cars and spending time with his family.
Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Aloisia; children and spouses, Alexander (Candy) Sprout, Christina (Eric) Mangels, Becky, and Bradley (Michelle) Sprout, many grandchildren and five brothers.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stefan.
