Jean M. Schaefer, 92, of Davenport, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Arbor Terrace Assisted Living, Naperville, IL. A private funeral service will be held at Weerts Funeral Home. Jean was born on November 21, 1930 in Davenport, IA to Henry and Antoinette (Petershmidt) Otten. She graduated from Immaculate Conceptions Academy and then was united in marriage to Don L. Schaefer on November 3, 1951 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2019.
Jean is survived by her sons, Don (Janee) Schaefer of Naperville, IL. and Mark Schaefer of Aurora, IL. and one granddaughter Alexis of Chicago, IL; She has one brother, Jerry (Mary) Otten of Urbandale, IA and many nieces and nephews. She will be loved and missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Henry and Antoinette Otten and sister, Corrine Nagel.
