Jean M. Moeller-Ralfs

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary Chapel. She will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park. Jean was born on January 25, 1926, daughter of Earnest and Mary (DeWulf) Schaefer in Scott County, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Victor R. Moeller on August 4, 1945. He passed away on February 24, 1991. She later married Harry Ralfs on February 14, 1993, and he also preceded her in death on January 30, 2006.

Jean volunteered at Genesis West, and was a member of Ledertaufels and the Elks. She was involved in her church, enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and was a big Chicago Cubs fan.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Janet (Douglas) Bleitz, Davenport, IA, Mary (Gaylord) Hauschildt, Marion, IA, Richard (Michelle) Moeller, Davenport, IA; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; three step children; and sister-in-law, Eleanor Schaefer, Bettendorf, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor; husband, Harry; twin sister, Janet Carter; sister, Kathlyn Schmidt; and brothers, Alvin Schaefer and Earl Schaefer.
