Janis E. Diamond, 61, of Davenport passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at Genesis East Medical Center Davenport. Visitation will be 12:00pm to 2:00pm Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory Davenport. Her funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the Runge Chapel. Janis was born July 21, 1962 in Rock Island, IL to Robert & Joanne (Lindquist) Petrilli. She was united in marriage to Louis “Jim” Diamond on June 20, 1992 in Moline, IL. Janis had been employed as a postal clerk for 28 yrs prior to her retirement from the US Postal service.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church Davenport, enjoyed crafting in different groups, and attending Craft shows. Her biggest love was spending time with her granddaughter Juniper.
Survivors include her husband Jim Diamond, Davenport; 2 Sons Mitch (Meridyth) Diamond, Davenport & Drake Diamond, Rock Island, IL; 1 granddaughter Juniper; sister Susan (Joe) Basala, Bettendorf; brother Kevin Petrilli CO; & nieces & nephews Rachel & Alex Basala, Codey & Alyssia Petrilli, & Savon Wyant.
Janis was preceded in death by her parents and a sister in law Rene Petrilli.
