James Jay Clark

James “Jim” J. Clark, 76, of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at The Summit of Bettendorf. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Online condolences may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com.

Jim was born on February 12, 1946 in Davenport to John and Naomi (Nicewanner) Clark. He graduated from North Scott High School in 1964. Jim attended the University of Iowa. He was employed at Eagle Warehouse where he was a dispatcher and DSI at Modern Woodman as a maintenance worker. Jim enjoyed playing chess, bridge and various games on the computer.

Survivors include his siblings, Sidney (Virginia) Clark of Merrillville, IN, Pamela Otto of Davenport, Steven (Vicky) Clark of Donahue, IA, Quentin Clark of Grand Mound, IA and several cousins, nieces, nephews and an uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at The Summit of Bettendorf. Especially the care and compassion of Jim’s hospice nurse, Betsy with Genesis Hospice.
