Jack West

Jack W. West 66, of Davenport passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2017 at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport. Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at The Runge Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Jack was born November 19, 1950 to Frances and Harriett (Freeborn) West. He graduated from Centerville High School. Jack married Tammy Cubbage on July 27, 2000.

Jack was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and New York Yankee fan. Above all, Jack loved his grandchildren, and telling stories about how proud he was of them. He would never miss a chance to go to their sporting events or school functions. Jack also enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his three boys.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Tammy, sons Brian (Sarah) West; Brad West (Monica Devlin); Craig (Jessica) West; brother, Rex West; sisters, Nancy West; Claudia (Marty) Beal; Sherry (John) Helftner; grandchildren; Hunter, Hayley, Drew, Degan, Caden, Viktoria, Wesley, Issac, and Andrew; and several nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded by his parents, and his dog Sassy.

There will be a luncheon following the service at the Elks Lodge in Davenport from 1:00-4:00.
