Ivan G. Morgan

Ivan G. Morgan, 70, of Bettendorf passed away on Friday, February 8, 2012. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-6 pm Tuesday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.RungeMortuary.com. Mr. Morgan was born March 16, 1942 in Lineville, Missouri, the son of Earl and Viola Morgan. He served in the US Army from 1960-1963. On November 16, 1970 he married Priscilla Young in Galesburg, Illinois. He was employed by J.I. Case Co. for thirty years and later by Sears Manufacturing prior to his retirement. In former years he was a member of the Izaak Walton League and active in the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Priscilla; children Daniel (Janet) Morgan, Sarah Morgan (Bob Block), Lisa (Randy) Neece, and Barbara (Steve) Wilson; grandchildren Kelsey, Andrea, Alexandria, Aaron, Andrew, Allison, and Chris; great granddaughter Kaitlynn; and two sisters Sue Greenlee and Zelda (Ken) Chaney, both of Sigourney, Iowa.
