Gary L. Stibolt, 58, of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at his home. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 3pm at Coram Deo Bible Church in Davenport; visitation will be before the service starting at 1pm. Memorials in Gary’s name may be made to Susan Stibolt for medical bills or to the Coram Deo Compassion Care Fund.
Gary was born on September 26, 1964 to Don and Nadine Stibolt. Following high school he earned his Bachelor’s degree and worked at various places throughout the Quad Cities, his last job being the Multi-media Specialist for Lee Enterprises. He was united in marriage to Susan Blough on Sept. 24, 2011. Gary was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Quad City Steam Wheelers, of which he was the head of the fan club. In his free time he loved to do karaoke and learning new life skills. Gary was an active member of the Coram Deo Bible Church and loved to socialize with everyone.
Those left to honor his memory are his wife Susan; children Joe (Charity) Stibolt and Christopher Stibolt; step-children Michael (Andrea) Kadilac, Kristin (Dave) Kadilac-DeMeyer, and Matthew Kadilac; grandchildren Rheagan, Hadlea, Eli, and Miles; step-grandchildren Davis, Lauren, Lana, Drew, and Ellie; siblings Misty Arendt and Don Stibolt; along with many loved step-siblings, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Don (Carol) Stibolt and his mother Nadine (George) Hall.
