Elsie Michelle Schmidt-Husemann

Per her wishes she will be cremated with a celebration of her life to be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. Michelle was born on September 30, 1966 to Jack and Elsie (Flynn) Schmidt in Davenport, IA. She was a graduate of Davenport West High School and she graduated from Scranton University in Pennsylvania with a degree in animal science. Michelle was united in marriage to Kelly Husemann on September 26, 2006 in Davenport. She was currently employed at Sears Manufacturing. Michelle loved animals and enjoyed riding horses, and breeding Weimaraner and min pin dogs. Those missing her deeply include her loving husband, Kelly; mother, Elsie L. Schmidt; daughters, Rochelle (Nick Simms) Schmidt and Kaitlyn Schmidt; and sisters, Debbie Decklar and Jackie Tileston. She was preceded in death by her father.
