Elizabeth M Matejcek

Per her wishes, she will be cremated with a private family burial in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.

Elizabeth was born May 25, 1959 to Albert and Evelyn (Martin) Matejcek in Buffalo, IA. She made her home with her lifelong companion, Douglas Moorman.

Elizabeth was family oriented and always put them first. She loved her family dearly and adored her beloved grandchildren. Elizabeth enjoyed playing bingo, going camping, attending annual family reunions, bonfires, and watching Douglas race stock cars. She was also an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

Those honoring her memory include the love of her life, Doug Moorman; children: Steve (Samantha Wrage) Matejcek of Davenport, IA, Jeff (Rebecca) Matejcek of Bloomfield, IA, Amanda Matejcek of Parkview, IA, Debra Matejcek of Davenport, IA, Kelly Beverlin of Davenport, IA, Gregory Moorman and Clayton Bowman of Rock Island, IL, and Carrie (John) Coons of Davenport, IA; siblings, Tommy Matejcek, Tony Matejcek, and Timmy Matejcek all of Buffalo, IA, along with Cynthia Fisher and Peggy (Ed) Compton both of Davenport, IA; and her 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Vincent and Dennis; and sister, Pam.
