Lisa was born on May 1, 1966, in Elizabeth, NJ to parents Nila (Madruga-Uria) and Jose Talavera. The family briefly lived in New Jersey. Several years later the family resided in Wilmington, CA. On October 24, 1988, Lisa married Franklin Hartley. They settled into the Quad Cities. Together, they had one son, Robert Hartley, who was the joy of Lisa's life. Family was always Lisa's number one priority, and she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. They particularly loved to spend time outdoors, especially the beaches of California or Florida.
Lisa's outgoing personality and hearty laugh is already missed beyond words. Her love will continue on in those who knew her. Survivors include her loving husband of 35+ years, Franklin Hartley; son, Robert Hartley; mother, Nila Talavera; siblings, Reina (Timothy) Mensink, David (Jennifer) Talavera, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
