Edwin was born on June 29, 1937 to Leo and Freda (Siems) Young in Neillsville, Wisconsin. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1960-1966. After being together for many years, he married Mary Ruth Wakefield on January 10, 1987. She passed away October, 1996. He was united in marriage to Shirley Martin on July 10, 1997. She passed away August 13, 2016.
Edwin worked for Oscar Mayer for over 30 years before retiring. There he worked various positions. His last position was slicing meat in the slice/ pack department. In January, 2002 he went on to work as a Specialized Transportation Service Operator for Metro Link Transportation in Illinois for 9 years. He retired from driving in December, 2010.
Ed (Uncle Bud) had a great sense of humor, charming personality, and loved to make people happy. He loved fishing, his dogs, family, and classic cars. He will be truly missed by those lucky enough to have known him.
Those left to cherish his memory are several loving nieces, nephews, his step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Delores Young.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, brothers Donald, Leo, Robert, Richard, and Jerry Young, sisters Yvonne Garrow, and Jacqueline Linka.
