Kelly and family, I was so very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. It seems that you have many wonderful memories of a very special husband, father and grandfather, and I pray those memories would renew your joy even as the Father comforts you with His peace.

Kelly, Josh... Family, I was saddened to hear this news about Doug. I had planned on attending the services Friday however the Flu decided otherwise for me, I went home sick on Friday morning.
I feel bad for missing the opportunity to pay my respects to Doug. I have so many good memories of working with Doug and Josh at Republic. Doug was always very helpful, fun and I will always remember him. I am sure he will be missed by all of you and I hope you can all find peace through your great memories. My heart goes out to the Klemme family for the loss of Doug.  Dick and Sally, losing a loved one is sad, but when it is a son, it's really heart rendering.

To all the Klemme Family, We knew Kraig and Nancy more than Doug. If he was as crazy as Kraig and Nancy...then he must have been a great guy to know. Richie and I would like for the whole family to know, that our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Seems like God always takes the really good ones.

Deepest condolences to the Klemme family on their loss, as an employee working for the city of Bettendorf I've had the privilege of getting to know and work with Doug, I recall in my early years working for the city and was still learning the trade, Doug was always friendly and helpful to me and made me always feel important, a trait that he clearly passed on to his son Josh, thoughts and prayers

Doug and i always shared our hot rod and vinatge cars............ he was a great guy to be around. i even purchased 2 cars from him when he opened his new car lot.

Please know that your family is in my prayers and you have my sympathies. Doug was one of the best salesmen that I ever had from Republic. He always made sure that if we needed something that we got it! Yesterday! I had not spoke with Doug in probably 8 years and was unaware of his battle with cancer. I know first hand how difficult this can be. So sorry for your loss and may God wrap his arms around you all and give you peace knowing he is not suffering.
