Dorothy E. Everetts, 82, of Davenport passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the comfort of her own home.
Per Dorothy’s wishes there will be no services and she will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dorothy was born April 23, 1935 in Metropolis, IL to Earl and Mabel (Alliston) Hendricksen. She was united in marriage to Gilbert Everetts. In the lat 1940’s Dorothy moved to the Quad Cities and worked in the food industry. She returned to work after taking time to raise her five children. She was a Cub Scout Den Mom and she loved animals.
Those left to honor her memory include her children: Michael Scheel, Rick Scheel and Kathryn Harrell, Michael Everetts, Valerie Everetts, and Mike Everetts, seven grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Dorothy was preceding in death by her sons, Brian and Bruce and sisters, Pat, Peggy, and Judy.
