Donna Rose Schlegel

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel with visitation immediately preceding from 12:30-2:30 pm. Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery. Donna was born May 21, 1935 in Davenport to Frederick and Berneal (Wainscott) Wulf. She was united in marriage to Bill Schlegel in Macomb, Illinois. She worked in Cost Accounting at Oscar Mayer, retiring from there in 1992. Donna was devoted to her family. She enjoyed bowling, playing the slot machines on the casino boats and many trips to Las Vegas over the years. She loved playing cards with her grandsons, letting them win most of the time.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Schlegel, of Davenport, her sons Mike and Marty (Sue), both of Davenport, her three grandsons, Marty Jr., Cary, and Steven, and her brother, Steve (Edith) Wulf of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents.
