Diana Rae Taylor

Diana Rae Taylor, 73, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to service time Saturday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Diana was born April 19, 1941 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Herman and Marie (Lukavsky) Meier. She was united in marriage to Lambert Taylor on December 19, 1967 in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed photography. Those left to honor her memory are son, Robert (Amie) Taylor, Walcott; daughter, Theresa Peterson, Eldridge; grandchildren, Megan Peterson, Forrest Peterson, Audry Taylor, Annie Taylor, and Allie Taylor; sisters, Mary Lou (Larry) Potter, Anita Thorndike, and Judy (Jerry) Pieper; and brother, Jim (Susie) Meier, all of Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald and David Meier.
