Denise M. Seematter, 58, of Bettendorf, died Monday, April 12, 2010 in Bettendorf. A time of remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010, from noon until 2:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary.Cremation rites were accorded. Memorials may be made to the Scott county Humane Society. Denise was born March 10, 1952 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Adolph “Buck” and Gwen (Bohnson) Seematter. She attended Clinton High School, graduating in 1971.
Denise was currently working for Carpetland where she had been for many years. She loved spending time with her friends and her beloved dogs; especially Riley and Bud E.
Those left to honor her memory include niece, Dr. Jessica Seematter Jones, nephew, Jerrold David Seematter and a sister in law, Pamela Goerger, all of Mobile, AL; many special friends including: Kathy Grubisich, Blue Grass, IA, Sheila Jackson, Bettendorf, Sandra Jurgens, Davenport and Denise Joens, Bettendorf. Her parents and a brother, David preceded her in death.
