Debra was born in Dawson, Georgia on September 21, 1957, the daughter of Kenneth and Zatha Burroughs.
Her family was extremely proud of her when she graduated from Marycrest College with a double major Summa Cum Laude.
Debra worked many years in management at several department stores and loved fashion and design and was very talented in home decorating. She wrote short stories and poetry and surrounded herself with great books, good music and her two cats, Blackie and Charles Dickens.
Left behind a son, Dustin Burroughs, San Diego, CA; a daughter, Ashley Burroughs, Milan, IL; and sisters, Madonna (Carl) Hill, Jr., Davenport and Sharon (James) O’Connor, Donahue, IA.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Kenneth and Zatha Burroughs, and Michael Geddling, her husband and love of her life.
