David Grant, 54, of Davenport, Iowa passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Visitation will be from 1pm – 3pm on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Weerts Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 3pm. Memorials in David’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
David was born on May 24, 1968 to James and Alyce Grant in Moline, Illinois. Following high school, David worked as a furniture deliveryman and later became a caregiver for many years. He enjoyed watching sports, fishing, and attending Pow-Wows. He was a former member of the Native American Coalition of the Quad Cities. David will always be remembered for his sense of humor.
Those left to honor David’s memory are his brothers Mark (Barb) Grant, Todd (Brandy) Grant, Matthew (Cathy) Grant, Shawn Grant, Adam (Beth) Grant, and James Andrew Grant; many nieces and nephews; his best friends Jim and Chris; and the entire Hendricksen family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
