Brenda Joyce Clark

Brenda J. Clark, 75, of Davenport originally from St. Louis, MO passed away on April 17, 2021 at Windmill Manor, Coralville, IA. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, May 7, 2021 at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Those who wish to attend should arrive at Weerts Funeral Home no later than 1:30 pm. Brenda was born on May 24, 1945 in Mushville, Mississippi to Elijah and Rosie (Finley) Higgins. Brenda worked in retail sales for a number of years. She was also a traveling missionary for various churches. She loved to sing and enjoyed holiday parties and events with her family. She loved reading books to her great grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda of Davenport; son, Joseph Clark of Granite City, IL; a host of grandchildren from Brenda Charles and Steven, twelve great grandchildren, six brothers and three sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, one daughter and two brothers.
