Betty Lou Rae, 95, of Davenport, IA passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, with visitation beginning at noon. She will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make A Wish or Scott County Humane Society. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Betty was born February 20, 1926 to Helen (Mathias) Ellis in Iowa City, IA. She was united in marriage to Earl Sydney Rae on May 25, 1946 in Minneapolis, MN.

Betty was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved to spend her time quilting, doing ceramics, and sewing.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Terry (Amee) Rae of Wilton, IA and Kevin Rae of Davenport, IA; daughter, Bonnie J. Rae of Davenport, IA; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl; sons, Ronald and Gary Rae; 3 brothers; and a sister.
