Betty Kinzer

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com.

She was born November 17, 1934 in Hardy, Arkansas the daughter of William and Pearl (Hamit) Weaver. On January 15, 1955 she married Ronald Jackson “Buddy” Kinzer. He preceded her in death June 19, 2002.

She was a homemaker, an accomplished seamstress and cook, and enjoyed yardwork.

Survivors include: children and spouses, Robin Linville, Davenport, Craig Kinzer, Bettendorf, Brinson and Donna Kinzer, Blue Grass, Shawn and Gina Kinzer, Aurora, IL; grandchildren, Heath, Luke, Whitney, Justin, Kyllie, Max, Morgan, Caelan, and MaKenna; 3 great grandchildren, Jackson, Reese and Elijah; and brother William Weaver, Fenton, IL.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, sister Katharine, brother Jerry, and son-in-law Mark.
