Betty M. Graber

Funeral services for Betty M. Graber, 90, of Davenport will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will follow at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the mortuary. Mrs. Graber died on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her residence in Davenport.Betty Marie Graber was born on January 2, 1925 in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Walter and Edith Demlow. Following her graduation from high school she married Ralph E. Graber on September 1, 1946 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death in January of 2005.Mrs. Graber had worked outside of the home in earlier years but mostly enjoyed being Mom and Grandma, and spending time with her family.Surviving members of the family include – her Son: David (Karen) Graber of Davenport; 2 Grandchildren: Janice and Sue; Great-grandchildren: Joshua, Tera and Jake; 3 Sisters: Eileen, Carolyn and Wilma; and a Brother Walter (Bud).She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 sisters Dorothy and Helen, and granddaughter Linda.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
