Benjamin Isaiah Williams

Benjamin “Ben” Williams, 18, of Eldridge, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11am at Weerts Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ben’s name may be made to the Scott County Department of Natural Resources.

Ben was born on March 8, 2005 to David and Sarah Williams in Davenport, Iowa. He attended North Scott High School but wanting to fast-track his future in trades. Ben worked hard to get his GED in March. He recently started his Apprenticeship at Elite Electric, working with his big brother.

Ben loved being outside. He loved fishing, hunting and fixing boats. Ben loved his family and friends dearly. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and always being there for his friends no matter what. Ben lived his life to the fullest and did anything for anyone in need.

Those Left to honor Ben’s memory are his parents: Sarah and David Williams; brother Brandon; sister Brianna; maternal grandparents Tim and Geradette Clark; paternal grandmother Ruby Gould; aunts and uncles: Jamie and Jon Klinkner, Teresa and Jeff Nelson, Michelle and Travis Dumerauf, Lisa and Travis Poulin, Kevin and Melissa Clark; great aunts Liz Lee and Linda Lee; plus many more aunts and uncles. Ben also has many cousin’s whom he loved dearly, however Anthony Carter was not only his cousin but like a brother. Ben had many wonderful friends; especially his best friend Eddie Mohr.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
