Barbara A. Schmidt, 78, of Davenport passed away March 13, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 17, 2017 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm Friday at the mortuary. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association (JDRF). On April 3, 1954 she married Harvey J. Schmidt. He preceded her in death. Barbara was employed by Davenport Public Schools for 27 years. She enjoyed cross-stitching and reading.
Those left to honor her memory include three daughters and sons-in-law: Cathy and Wayne Moreland, Deanna and John Roberts and Sheryl and Bill Wulf; grandchildren: Amanda, Emily, David and Ben; a great grandson, Gabriel and sister, Carol.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Moeller, Jr.
