Barbara Jean Hess

Barbara Jean Hess, 81, of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, May 3rd at the Rock Island Nursing and Rehab Center, Rock Island, Illinois. Barbara Jean Luellen, was born March 6, 1933, in Muscatine, IA, where she lived for many years prior to moving to Davenport.

Barb was very active with the Neighborhood Watch program and enjoyed working at the Mississippi Valley Fair. She worked many years in the health care field.

Those left to honor her memory include her two brothers, Jim Luellen, Muscatine and John Luellen, Santa Rose, CA; daughter, Vicki Archer (Stan) of Grimes, IA; son, Louie Wilson of Ogden Utah; three grandchildren and three great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mary Dusenberry of Phoenix, AZ; a brother, Bill Luellen, of Madison, Wisc; and one son, Michael Wilson.

The Runge Mortuary is assisting her family. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Davenport Memorial Park. Online condolences can be left at www.therungemortuary.com.
