Barbara Jean Cameron

Barbara Jean Cameron, 69, of Davenport passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at Unity Point Trinity Bettendorf. Cremation will be done with a memorial service to be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 1 to 3pm at the Runge Mortuary. Barb Petznick was born July 31, 1946 in Mason City, IA to Carl & Alpha (Borchardt) Petznick. She was united in marriage to Darron Cameron on February 17, 1972 in Rock Island, IL. She had been employed as a cashier/ hostess for the last 11 years at the Rhythm City Casino.

Barb had many interests which included crocheting, quilting, reading, & traveling with her husband & friends. One of her favorite pastimes was her garden, where she grew her vegetables and beautiful flowers.

Survivors include her husband Darron, Davenport; 2 sisters Carol (Don) Benson, Pleasant Prairie, Wis & Ruth (Gary) Dayton, Winthrop Harbor, IL; a brother Jerry (Marlys) Petznick, Northwood, IA; 2 sister in laws Sandy Cameron, Davenport & Dawn (Ray) Seys, Montpelier, IA; & many nieces & nephews.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents.
