Albert Zamora, 80, of Davenport passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 unexpectedly at his home. Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded with no services scheduled. Online tributes and condolences may be expressed by visiting www.rungemortuary.com.
He was born on October 30, 1936 the son of Saturnino and Betty (Hernandez) Zamora. He was united in marriage to Lupe J. Navarro. Albert worked for many years at Brammers, John Deere and Kahl Home.
Albert enjoyed playing his guitar and singing to his family. He adored Elvis and Johnny Cash. In Albert’s free time he liked fishing, playing tennis in his younger years. He took pride in woodworking and loved to use his creative imagination to make items with his children.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lupe; children: Lydia (Roger) Bowling, Lola (Steve) DePooter, Rupert Zamora, Rosie (Rory McIntire) Zamora, Michael Zamora, Monica Zamora, Joe (Angel) Zamora, Lupe Reyes, Tina Reyes, Sherry Reyes and Timothy Reyes; twenty-five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and brother, Joe (Angel) Zamora.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and grandson, Dominick.
