Sandra Joy (Oliver) Miller

Of Dartmouth, passed away June 17th, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the QEII Hospital, She will be sorely missed. Born in Lucasville, NS on August 18, 1954, she was the Daughter of Avis and the late Lester Oliver.

She is survived by her Husband, Lamont Miller; Son, Jeffery; Daughter, Jennifer; Mother, Avis Oliver; Sister, Theresa (Charles) Mantley; Brothers, Perley (Carol) Oliver and Bryan Oliver; two uncles and two aunt's, many nieces and nephews. Sandra Miller was a beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter. She was predeceased by her father, Lester Oliver and brother, Clark Oliver.

Sandra worked for MTT and Bell Aliant for 37.5 years. She graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in History. She was an avid baker, gardener and sewer. She enjoyed attending craft fairs and making baked goods. She was a member of the Lucasville Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary as well as Victoria Road Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 from 6pm - 8pm at A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth, NS, B2Y 1J5. A private Family Funeral Service will be held at A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Rev. Dr. Moriah officiating. Private interment will follow the service at Dartmouth Memorial Gardens, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, NS.

Family flowers only, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Victoria Road United Baptist Church or the Kidney Foundation.
