Ramona was my best friend for a long time, we had so many laughs and her laugh was wonderful. She’d put her hand up to her month and let out that giggle. She loves it when I called it momma cita and told me all the time. We spent a lot of time together just going on the ferry and walking around downtown. I miss u momma cita and sorry I wasn’t there . I talk to you at night and remember our fun times together and all the laughs we had, and we had soooo many. I love it and miss u bad. Rest in peace my good friend Ramona 😞

My lovely cousin Ramona was beautiful, modest, kind, patient, soft-spoken, and very loving. 
During my youth, I remember being her and practically all of her siblings'  babysitter, during the summer months while Aunt Janet went to work. 
It was ironic when I was older and moved away from home to Halifax, Ramona became my babysitter for my 2 eldest daughters for a period of time.  She also lived in Dartmouth in 3 different locations in close proximity to me, which meant we saw each other frequently. 
In later years,  we found time to spend together, doing various things, and listening to our favorite music from the 60s and 70s.  Ramona and I  loved that music so much, that we would try to outsing one another.  You can't imagine the noise that was made.   Those were the best of times.
When she became a mother she was such a doubting mom.  She wasn't afraid to let you know that her boys were the loves of her life. 
To Christopher, your mom may be gone from your life, but she will always be your guardian angel. 
To Aunt Janet and the family, Mona is at peace with God and all of the loved ones that have gone before her.  May you rest in perfect peace, Mona!
